In 1983 Father James Hoge OSB, then
pastor of St. Benedict Church, Crystal River identified a
need in our county to provide food and clothing for the
needy.
He established Daystar Life Center
as a mission on the Diocese of
St. Petersburg. Financial services
were added to meet the growing
needs of daystar clients.
Daystar continues to add services
and programs to meet developing
needs within the county. |
